Pricing & Taxes
Products on Chariz must fit one of the defined tiers below.
The fee for using the Chariz platform is 18% of your sales. We take this amount to fund the service and keep it running, to handle fees from payment processors such as PayPal, to pay sales taxes (often called VAT or GST), and to handle refunds requested after the amount has already been paid to the seller. The Chariz payment platform is a service; this is how you pay for the service. You don’t pay any other fees — all of our services are included in this one fee.
Tiers 1 and 2 have an increased fee of 23% in order to compensate for fees imposed by our payment processors.
We may reduce the fee charged for a product’s sales through an agreement made with a seller. This will be rare however, and we do not accept requests for reduced fees.
If fee amounts change, we will contact affected sellers in advance.

Sales Taxes
As HASHBANG Productions is the entity accepting payments from customers, we have an obligation to remit sales taxes on your behalf in many countries. This is called Value-Added Tax (VAT) or Goods and Services Tax (GST) in some countries and unions. Please refer to each country or union’s website for the current sales tax amount. These can typically be between 10% to 25% of the purchase amount.
The countries for which we do so are listed below. We plan to expand this list to fulfill tax obligations where we are able to.
Please note that in many of the countries below, we also have a legal obligation to always display the full, tax-inclusive, price. Chariz will never remove the sales tax amount from a displayed price, even in countries where this is permitted.
